The basis of a good soldier is its fitness level!


Still, many might be surprised that the benifits of training invovles more than just building muscles and conditioning. There are proven cognitief and scoial benefits from working out. A good workout is an natural anti-depressant and like a wonderous tool it helps us focus long after the workout.


Benefits of a military workout

Military workouts have a few pros compared to other training disciplines. It is versitile workout that works every muscle in your body. Even the small smalls that often lack attention. Therefore it improves core stability and overall balance.


Another aspect that sets military workout apart is that you need little to no equipment, Making it the ideal workout at work during office hours, on holiday or during an extended break.

We soldiers like working out in groups, this implements a mayor social aspect to the regime that creates cohesion and improves relationships.



I am not strong, the training is not for me

Working out is not a privilige for strong people. Working out is for everyone, no matter age or weight. Military workout are easy adaptable towards different levels of fitness wihtin a single group.


You will reap the benefits that are mentioned earlier even if you can't do ten pushups. Your body loves working out. The effects of training are beyond what we can observe with our senses. Training reguarly brings mental and emotional benefits.


The training

We will go outside come wind come rain and get some fresh oxygen. During a low impact movement, we do exercises to warm up our muscles and ready our bodies. Along the way, we utilize benches, trees, poles, whatever is present. Making the training easy to reproduce yourselves. 


Once we are warm, we will be static in a pre-selected location, where I might have prepared some attributes. It is here where we do our core workout, get our heart rate up, work our muscles and operate together with partners. 


Everyone can train at their own level. Don't worry if you're a marathon runner and your partner is not. I will get you to feel a sense of reward when the training is over. 


When the time is almost up, we will start a cool down, move back to the start location and finish with stretching exercises. 


Once you are refreshed, you will enjoy the rest of the day more focussed and content.



Prices and location

The workout itself will last around one and a half hours, including introduction, warm up and cooling down. The price for the workout is €200,- excl. Without transport costs. 


Expect to be busy for two hours with refreshing afterward.


On request, we can discuss a training workout spread over an extended period. A great way to get yourself, your friends or colleagues in great shape.

Rick Jens

Rick trained for the special forces, tough adventure races and partook in military sports events during his military career. He overcame injuries that taught him a lot about conditioning. He has been injury free for many years and is as fit as ever.
